how long did it take for your Nosy Be to turn blue???

My Nosy Be is just about 4 and a half months old and I see some blue. Anyone else that has a Nosy Be how old were they when they started to blue? I noticed after his shead yesterday he has blue along the spikes on his back and on his tail but when will he start to be all blue?

Closer to 6 months probably. Mine sort of never turned blue until he was close to a year old. Before that he was yellow (and still fires up yellow) so mine's not a good cage to base off of) but at 6 months is when most panthers start to get significantly more color.

He may not be completely colored up until a year - year and a half of age.

yeah his first shead he got some yellow around his mouth. This shead he got some blue he has had a little blue on his cheeks since I got him. he is comin along great.
p.s. your cham looks awesom I like the red specs in him.

Any panther reaches full color maturity after a year old, between 15-24 months

Nosey bes generally arent all blue... thats the look breeders try to strive to have, the " true blue" nosybe look.

Bodhi my Nosy has the blue behind his eye the same color your gizmo has and noy he is starting to get a bright blue down his back and his tail He is a caranthir hatchling from kammerflage. I hope he ends up blue like his dad but if not oh well his personality makes up for anything and I'm glad to have him.

yeah thank you. I think he will get there he trys really hard. and I seen it very faint but after this last shed It's really coming in bright.

( I noticed I spelled shed wrong lol)
