How hard can a Veiled Cham Bite??

Ok, so this might sound crazy but i just had to see how much a panther bite hurts. My friend got his Ambanja out the other day and i was asking if it hurts when they bite, he held him in front of me and asked me to try. I did. Damn, they got some strong jaws!!! it was nowhere near as bad as i expected though and barely broke the skin. The worst part was when he started thrashing his head around, That was quite painful but ive still got all my fingers so alls not too bad. Feel free to laugh at me for being stupid! lol

lol i was wondering what the psi was for an adult veiled too. I let mine bite me to see if it was painfull it didn't hurt cause one i had on gloves cause he is a biter and 2 i felt alot of pressure. a kid it would hurt but i just felt the pressure and i was like wow. when i had him out today i let him bite me a few times just to let him know it doesn't bother me at all. my 4 month old veiled just hisses tries to bite but can't fit his mouth on my fingure its cute!!!

all of my aggressive chameleons just strike and release (never any chewing like a nile monitor will do).

my panther is the friendliest guy. he'll let you kiss him, im not into that but thats how cool he is. everyone thats seen has held him. never seen him bite anyone(knock on wood)

yeah my panthers are cool as heck and laid back to and their just a few months old. My Fischer will get o your hand if you put it next to him.

My male 4 yr old panther, bit me, had blood in his mouth and on his face. Now he looks at me like I'm lunch! He follows my fingers, tries to miss his food and get another piece of me when he eats. Do they love blood? I heard they will eat small rodents-pinkies, u no. Has anyone ever had one really try to EAT a piece of your skin?
