How Do You Clean Your Roach Bins?

Have a second tote ready. Remove all egg crates (with roaches attached) and set them into the second container. Dump all of the remaining debris into a colander. Shake all of the frass and you will be left with whatever roaches were not on the eggcrates. Dump the remaining roaches into the second tote. Clean out the first tote, sanitize and dry. Place the egg crates and roaches back into the first (clean container) and your done. If you need to change your egg crates out, you'll have to knock off all of the roaches from the egg crates into the second bin, disgard old crates and then proceed as stated above, dumping roaches into the first bin onto your new egg crates. The egg crates do not need to be changes more than once every two to three months. I clean my bins about that often unless I have a die off of mature roaches.

Just looking for efficient ideas on cleaning out roach bins.

I use Dubia and Turkish.

Dubias I do the same as JohnnyD.

For my Turks I shake out all the roaches move everything to one side clean the other side with a moist paper-towel. Then replace the egg crates and the roaches run for cover (I ussually wait an hour and most will have left the messed area). After that I just scoop out all the poo and stuff, and separate all the egg cases and place them in a separate container till they hatch ( I keep Turks separated into newly hatched, half inch and 1" tubs. I do this because they are so fast and I have animals that eat the all different sizes)
