How Do I Set Up A Free Range?

Hi everyone, I have a 1 year and a half old male veiled chameleon. I really want to set up a free range/ jungle gym for him so I can let him out of his cage and he can get some exercise and adventure outside of the cage. He often sits by his cage door wanting to come out and when i open his door he comes towards me and climbs out of the cage however, he gets too scared when he is finally out of the cage. I think he is scared and doesn't feel safe because he has no cover and he isn't sitting up high. I want to give him a place in the corner of my room where he can explore, I have a free space in the corner of my room so I feel like I can probably build something there however, I don't know how to make a free range. I've seen videos of many chameleons roaming around on ropes and what not but I'd like some ideas or maybe even some pictures on some ideas on what I can make for him. Thank you so much!

Chameleon cant leave the area
cham needs to be cup trained if running free range full time.


This could be as simple as 3 big potted plants, placed inside of an empty kiddie pool.
