How do I know if my Cham eggs are healthy?

I'm a first time breeder and am just wondering how to tell if the eggs are healthy at this stage. They are about 3-4 weeks old now and are kept in an incubator set at a constant temperature of 74 degrees. What are some signs I can look for that indicate healthy/unhealthy eggs.

Any help is much appreciated.

Well, if they are healthy, they won't appear to be molding over or having too much discoloration.

A healthy egg is basically a white (like a chicken egg) unless there is sand residue on it. They won't collapse after a few months and they won't mold.

Any molded or collapsed eggs are not fertile and should be thrown away immediately.

Not always true with mold! Sometimes (for what reason I do not know) they start to mold even if they are fertile and they can be saved. I believe someone (chams1?) used an anti-fungal product around the eggs to get rid of the problem.

I prefer to just cover the eggs in the medium. Then there isn't a mold issue.

Knew I wasn't stating something fully. Stressful morning. >< Thanks for correcting me Kara! :)

I think it's very interesting! I also think that eggs that survive the whole incubation can still be infertile! Crazy stuff

I think I actually have an egg that's infertile and is just collapsing, but I'm not sure if there is a baby in it so, it's not getting tossed just yet.

Thanks for the tips everyone :) I really need it lol
All the eggs look nice and healthy
Super excited for the little bundles of joy!
