How do I encourage her to eat?

I just got my new baby veiled and I love her!

I have had her since Saturday and I have noticed that she wont go down to her food bowl and get the mealworms or veggies I chopped up. I read that she probably won't eat veggies and fruit until she gets a little older. Its not that she wont eat, because she eats the mealworms if I give them to her or if the cricket crawls up to mesh. She knows her food bowl is there.

Is there anyway I can encourage her to go down and it get?

She only eats crickets and mealworms and is that okay to give her in her youth ages or is there something else I can give her?

Try hanging the food cup under her basking branch so they catch her eye rather than her going to the bottom. Chams don't usually feel comfortable going to the bottom of the enclosure.

Most chams don't like going down to the bottom of the cage, so try hanging it in the branches or on the side your your cage so it's closer to your chams level
