LLLReptiles actually has an awsome deal for a pair of juvenile veileds. if you raise your female up correctly, you can totaly avoid an infertile clutch or reduce an infertile clutch to a very small one, then with experience with raising them to adults, you will be able to breed them! just my opinion, i think it would be a great way to raise chams, learn everything along the way and breed them. i would just find out first and make sure that this pair is NOT from the same bloodline

Once the animals are three or four months old, colour and tail base are fairly easy to tell apart, but when they are smaller the "kent vent" method is great.

Yes, really it would be a big benefit to you to get your Cham from one of the great breeders showcased on the Forum... getting a healthy Cham from a knowledgable breeder who can assist and answer questions for you ect. give you and your Cham the best chances of getting a good start and staying on track. Unfortunatley Petstores do not have allot of background info on the reptiles they sell, and many times (not always) but many times they are not kept in proper or ideal condidtions. ( Make sure you research here proper set-up rather than take the Petstores advice on that as chances are you would get incorrect info... unless you are lucky enough to run across and employee there who has actually had sucessful Cham keeping experience.)
But no matter what you decide... the very most important thing is that you do lots of research on proper husbandry and set up to ensure once you do get your Cham you give it the best chances for health. If you have not read through these links its great to do so, there is allot of helpful info:
