How can i get my female to go receptive

My veiled chameleon is a year old and has never gone receptive. How can i make her go receptive.

In all seriousness I was going to ask the same thing. My female has always been very aggressive towards the male (moves towards him gaping, hissing with black colouration), and never seems to be receptive?

To give some background I understand that she is just over a year old and I only got her about 2 months ago. She seems a very healthy weight and shows good colouration. However I do wonder whether she had enough room to bask properly with the previous owner as she seems to have what looks like scarring along the ridge of her spine? she also smelt strongly of tobacco smoke so I wonder if she has a bit of a nicotine habit????

My male also is just over a year old, and i wonder if he is still a little on the small side (if he is still growing?) for her taste and that she is holding out for a larger male? He is about the same size as her, but she is much heavier?

Any expert opinions would be welcome?

I found this very intriguing.
Perhaps, in order not to hijack Bradley's thread, would you care making another thread of your own, and Please do post some pictures of her.
I want to see what that scarring is and why exactly she does not cycle eggs.

Plus, the nicotine thing is just a bit bizarre.

Thanks for the replies guys and dodolah I will start a new thread as suggested. Will try and do this tonight and pm you when up.

The nicotine thing was a bit 'tongue in cheek' (British humour) as I am sure she has not, but clearly she came from a house with a heavy smoker as her skin even smelt smokey.
