How big?

I was curious to how big approximately my chameleon should be right now. I'm estimating him to be 8 months, give or take a month. Bought him at a pet store so not sure when exactly he was born. He is a veiled chameleon. Also, what is the correct way to measure him? Do you include the tail or no? Thanks.

I'll take one tomorrow during the day. He has spent most of spring and all of summer outside. He is still outside so I need to wait for the daylight. I'll see what kind of mood he is in as well.

Most keepers measure from snout to vent. At 8 months old my male veiled Luie weighed 88 grams and at one year old he weighted 140 grams. I have tons of pictures of him at all ages in my profile album if you'd like to compare.

I'm not sure of how much he weighs honestly. I did take some quick pictures today. It has been raining and he wasn't exactly thrilled about the pictures but since we had a break in the rain I broke out the tape measurer and proceeded to take pictures. I'm pretty positive he still has growing to do as I feel he is still too small to be adult size, though I could be wrong. Here are the pictures I took today.

I promise you he isn't skinny, I know it can look like that in atleast one of the pictures. He seems to be really good at sucking his belly in and stretching his body out to make it looks like I don't take care of him. I also realize he is a darker color in the pictures. Like I said, it's been raining and he did feel a little cold (outside temp is in the 80's) and he wasn't thrilled about the pictures. I just don't want anybody to think I don't take care of him.

*Edited to redo posting of pictures. Copied the wrong links the first time.

I'm guessing with no reply that he is at a fine size for his age or maybe it isn't the length that matters? I just want to make sure he is on the right track.
