How big is too big?

Hello! Tim loves hornworms, but they grew so fast! He was able to handle them most of the time, but last time had a bit of difficulty getting it all down. Is there any way to keep them from growing? Is there any real danger of him choking/obstructing from too big a worm? Thanks!

Meh they are just bags of water. Plus they are not like us. They can have a feeder in the stomach so long its still sticking out of the mouth, just fine.

But you do not have to feed a horn every day. Once they are approaching good eaten size, you can start feeding them every other or every 3rd day. Just be aware that if you under feed them too much, they will start munching on each other...
