Ive been so worried about taking spike to the vet because the lack of experience most vets have with chameleons, but i really want him to get a check up ive been doing a lot of researching on reptile vets in maine and this was the best one i found what do you think? I noticed in there patient pictures theres a mellers so maybe they are experienced.

Why dont you ask them? A well known doctor is in Boston and goes by "the odd pet vet" Dr. Gregory Mertz. He's probably the best specialist in New England. All doctors defer to him for exotics.
