If you've ever lived in Arizona you feel my pain.

It was up to 100 degrees today. Horrible.

It's supposed to stay in the triple digits for a while.

How on EARTH can you ship ANY animals in that heat?

Dang.

I'd love that heat! But for sure no good with shipping animals :(

We were at 20 (68) today, beautiful blue sky and sunshine.... tonight already -2 (28) started raining and now snowing like crazy!! I swear I live in the only city where we get all 4 seasons in less than a 24 hour period :(

I feel your pain syn. I want to get a panther this summer but I dont know how on earth I am going to get one without the shipping. All thats left is driving to California to get one.

I love Canadian weather. Gives you a nice surprise. :)

Insert - I believe there are ways to get them still, but it involves an extra fee for cooler storage (but not COOL STORAGE! That's basically refrigerated!)

It's your turn for the bad weather. California is passing it on to you. We just had 3 straight days ranging from 95 to 101.
I had to delay a shipment going out. Today was much cooler, so the cham is on his way now....

I'll have to hope for a good day like that. I have a few planned purchases here in the future and I don't want it cooked!

What's the max temperature you can ship animals at? I live in Nevada during the summer and there is probably no way in hell I can get a panther from screameleons :(. Even when I go back to school in the fall, it will probably still be to hot.

To a point you can ship with cool packs and nice foam boxes. It all just depends on the high temps.

Or go to a show and pick one out in person! Going to have a SUPER show in SD, 2 months out.

I agree let's send it elsewhere ... shorts one day and winter coats later same day! And we are sitting under a severe snow storm warning now, stating 5-10 cm more coming!! NO!!

I live in the land of Constant Clouds!!! 75 is hot for us and 2 inches of snow will paralyze the city. I have thought of moving several times to a drier climate but wonder if the electric bill would be more to cool the place down or warm it up? What I really want is sun, just plain sun. Light! Yellow! UVB!

- Sunless in Seattle :( WWWWAAAAJHHHHHH

if you live in arizona, we all know that for the next few months till september ,it is going to be a sweltering hell hole.

sabrina i don't recommend trying to ship anything during the summer months. you might get away with it this week. but the package would have to arrive garunteed by like 9:00 AM after that the heat really spikes.

100 is still fairly cool for arizona. by may we could see temps as high as the 120's. which isn't uncommon combined with the dry heat , dehydration happens very easly. supposedly 50 people die every year from dehydration. and even more from heat related deaths.

Thank god for AC. When I lived in AZ we just didn't go outside until the sun went down.

Even going to the car makes you break a sweat in the summer. At least monsoon season comes around and freshens things up.
