Horrible dog owners!!!!!

So today me and my girlfriend (ChameleonAyer) were going to eat at Chilli's and when we pulled into the parking lot we saw a car with 3 dogs in it with no ac on and the windows barely cracked. It was 101 degrees outside and the dogs were panting frantically. We told the hostess, she didn't care. We told the waiter and he finally told a manager and he asked around and noone claimed the car. So we called animal control but they didn't make it in time. About 45 minutes later someone went to the car(they were the people sitting behind us and had to of heard us talking about it) and they sat outside the car for about 5 minutes talking and not turning on the ac for their dogs... Well, Amanda went and talked to them and they told her, "oh we didn't know it would get that hot in here." They also said they just got in town from vacation and that's why the dogs were in the car. Apparently they couldn't stop by the house before they ate.

I'm sorry, but how stupid can you be? The dogs looked really bad and were panting frantically. Amanda gave them the license plate numbers so I really hope they don't get away with it.

If I could not locate owners quickly, I would have no problem bashing in someones window to save a dog's life. How people can be so stupid is beyond me.

But yea I see a lot of people do that, they are lucky they arnt trapped in a car like that. Idk whats wrong with some people, they get a dog and then they just forget about it and thinks that they can get away with anything with having the dog.

With my friend's german shepherd he leaves him in the car sometimes with it running so the ac stays cool (remote starter). If you saw the dog you'd know why he feels comfortable doing this.

Any time you see that you call the cops immediately or animal control. And if you see the animals clearly in distress and feel the situation is an emergency, it wouldn't kill you to break a window to let them out. I have come very close to that before. Sorry you had to go through seeing that. People are amazingly stupid when it comes to animals.

I agree with Chamelisa, the cops probably would have showed up in a more timely manner.

If you live in a nice town, cops are just cruising waiting for a call, they show up in a heartbeat. Wouldn't it of been ironic if a K9 unit showed up? You know that dude would be livid.

Chris and I grew up in MI, and this happened about 2 or 3 years agobefore we moved to NV. One of the principles for an elementary school in the city I lived decided to do some errands one day. She had her newborn baby with her in the car in the carseat. This was during the summer when school was out, but she had to stop by her office to drop off some paperwork or what not. Her newborn baby was sleeping so she decided to run inside real quick with out bringing in her child. Well, she FORGOT her CHILD was in the car, and ended up leaving her baby in the car, in the summer, for HOURS. When she finally remembered her baby was in there, it was too late. The baby had passed away in the reportedly 120F heat inside the car. How DISGUSTING is that?

It never ceases to amaze me just how stupid people can be.

I bet if you bashed in their window, that would have gotten their attention. I agree the cops should have been called. Keep that in mind if you are unfortunate enough to see this again.

We had that happen in Seattle a couple of week ago. The police were called, the windows were smashed to get the dogs and a cat out. One of the poor animals didn't make it. The animals were taken to Animal Control for treatment and the people were fined, not to mention the damage to their car.

I won't even take my dog if its 65 out, clouds or no clouds.

When I become Queen of the US, I will pass a law that those who abuse kids, animals and old people will be punished by the same treatment they gave their helpless victims...

wowwwwwwww... what a stupid m*********** dumb **** of a *****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if i believed in heaven and hell i would want her to burn for that one!
