Hornworms and silkworms

How much food should I get for them? I'm ordering my first batches tomorrow and am new to this. How much food should I order without getting ripped off by the shipping charges

Should I order the worms with the food already? The pre made food? The powder food? And how long can the dry and made food last ?

I usually order 3 bags of food at a time for each. I order hornworm food from great lakes hornworms and silk chow from mulberry farms. I have not had success feeding horn worms the silk worm chow as you may read is possible. If you want to raise horns from eggs I should have some in the next week or so, otherwise order those babies up. What chams/ ages do you have?

I like getting the hornworms from Great Lakes hornworms for just around 30 dollars for two habitat cups with food and they last me forever since I put them in the fridge back and forth to keep them from getting too big too fast. I get silks from Mulberry farms and they have habitat cups also and I've had good luck with those too. I just can't keep them as long as the hornworms since they are more delicate
