Hornworm

i was wondering, if hornworms were inexpensive. Could they be used as staple feeder? Then roaches/crickets twice a week to add something a little more chitin-full?

Hornworms are expensive around $10-12 for a cup of 25 worms. I use them as a treat or I may give them some extra if I think they're getting dehydrated. Hornworms are an excellent feeder to help with hydration because of their high water content.

I raise and sell hornworms for $7/cup. They are a staple in my two cham's diets. They love them and are full of water to help with hydration.

Hornworms don't have to be expensive, I don't buy cups of live worms, I buy eggs. They are much less expensive and last longer.

Way easier than silkworms, they need fresh food everyday, but I have maybe only 2 die offs out of 50 eggs. Thankfully I have lots of reptiles who will eay them and I rarely have any leftovers. I usually cull the big ones
