can the horn hurt my cham this is my first time feeding her them wasnt sure if i was suppose to prep them or soemthing sorry new to the feeders

Nope, the horn is pretty soft. I was advised that you could let them walk through some of the calcium powder you dust feeders with to lessen their grip on things. They tend to hang on tight!

thanks for the quick reply but all i have on me is cacium with d3 and she already has had hers for the month she is a jackson worried about over supplemnting

also what should i do as for taking care of them

Keep them cool if you want them to grow more slowly. You can use a cooler with some ice packs (not touching them) to keep their metabolism slow. They will eat like crazy when it is warm. Clean their poop every day and get rid of any moldy stuff that may develop on their food.

It doesn't have to be done, but could help. You could try hand feeding if your cham has issues eating them. ;)
