Homemade branches

Yes I do know what this is.
In Germany everyone advise against cocos fiber cause of the reasons I mentioned.
But maybe we Germans are a bit overreacting .
We do so many things different when keepig reptiles compared to America
Are you thinking of the "chunky" like substrate? I'm thinking of the really fine one, like the really compressed bricks.

Sorry, I didn't mean it offensively, I just wanted to make sure we were thinking of the same thing. How do you know I am from the U.S.?

If there is loose coco fiber how do i get it off
Have you put in the branches? I think you used the wrong silicone, that may explain the lack of odor of some sort. I think that Silicone 1 is the one to use, and the guy in the video probably uses silicone 1. I'm not sure, so please try to verify.

How strong is the odor suppose to be?

Silicon 2 caulk is what's called a "neutral cure" silicone, which means no acids are released during the curing process (as there are in silicon I* caulk). This enables silicon 2 caulk to adhere to a broader range of substrates such as plastics, concrete, and metals.

So all the acids stay in the silicone? Are they still safe to use

A neutral cure silicone is a sealant which releases alcohol or another non-acidic substance whilst curing . The sealant has virtually no or has completely no odour.

Just give it the full time to cure and you should be ok try reading the tube to make sure it’s a neutral cure i don’t know if it would say it or all #2 silicon indicates it’s a neutral cure
