After a rather heated debate with a good portion of the fellow chameleon forum community, I believe it is best to apologize to anyone I have offended. With that said, let me start over by properly introducing myself.
Hi....
My name is Angelo Taylor. I am a 19 year old sophomore in college who majors in film. I live in San Leandro, CA which is in the heart of the San Francisco bay area.
In high school I decided to purchase my first veiled chameleon to satisfy that childhood obsession with dinosaurs. Unfortunately, I was rather oblivious to the needs of them. I have owned over 8 veiled chameleons in the course of 4 years. I have lost 2 of them, another two died and the rest are sitting soundly in their cages. It has been a long process and a huge investment but 8 chameleons later, I am still obsessed with these mini dinosaurs. There is still a lot i need to learn, of course.
Chameleon owners seem to be scarce in my area so thats how I came across this forum.
If there is anyone in the San Francisco bay area that is willing to make a new friend and share some pointers with me then that would be really cool.
Say hi to the noob!
