This year i started collecting different species of jumping spiders. They are extremely active and not too delicate since all my local species are used to a warm and dry climate. This is a female i caught when she was half this size. I must have caught her as she just bred because in a couple months she had a egg case. Most of the babies got out through the air holes i made for the female...
Well Ive caught and killed a couple but now im almost sure they've taken refuge in my chameleon cages. Guess where one ant sized spiderling chose out of the entire 3'x18x18" cage to make his nest?
yea riiight!
Close up of the web. The culprit is no where to be found of course!!! Probably eating springtails
Hope you enjoy this as much as i do! I woke up thinking why does my jacksons have glitter on his head
