I doubt any cham can take an adult hisser. Maybe a really huge cham, but I doubt it- I think they would take one crack at the shell and spit it out. Adult hissers are really tough even for adult bearded dragons to tackle. It's a lot of work and persistance for them to finish one off. I've done that with adult bearded dragons, but never chameleons, so I'm not positive about my answer.
I do offer hissers as food for my chams, but I don't offer the big adult and nearly adult sized hissers to them. I only feed baby and juveniles out.
They don't breed as quickly as other roaches, but the adults are kind of fun to have around and they are something for a little variety...
