Hissing Roach

So I bought a hissing roach (Halloween)
I’ve had her/him for over a month as I wanted to keep it. My Chameleon showed no interest in it or in any other Roach. Today I checked on the roach and noticed she was fat AF.... I thought to myself, should I offered to Uncle Sneaky? I did and he instantly slung that tongue (He is the fastest tongue slinger in the West) and ate it in one gulp, all of it. I been tryna move away from crickets since they’re noisy and stinky. My question is, can hissing roach be a staple feeder or they’re more of a threat? Also, I paid $6.99 for that Roach, do we have a sponsor or a member that sells them cheaper?
Thanks

Things to look for in a roach:
Small enough that the cham can eat adults
Fast breeding
Has the qualities you are looking for. Some want climbers, some want fast, some want green, etc
IF the escape (and they will) will they cause and ingress. Dubias can only live outside (or in your house with no help) in 2 states, as an example

2 most popular big ones are dubia and discoids. After that you have green banana and red runners if you want small fast climbers. Finally if you want to be a true hipster, you can get some lobster or orange heads.

The problem with your halloween roach is they are very slow breeders, and get HUGE.

That one was huge and had no problem eating it.... he didn’t even chew it, I didn’t see him choking either.
Since I’m still at my parents house, I’m not into breeding yet. (Moving out soon)
Thanks for the info, really helpful.
