His poop

Chameleon Info:
  • Your Chameleon - Panther Chameleon he is 6month and been in my care for 3.5 month now.
  • Handling - 2-3 a week to put him on his free range.
  • Feeding - Silkworms..Crickets...butterworms...hornworms...he eats around 5 Feeders every morning. I leave some feeders in his cup Incase he want to eat more when im at work but he doesn’t touch them. I feed him every morning at 10am. gut-loading with Cricket crack and carrots and bug burgers now and then.
  • Supplements - Every feeder with Repti Calcium without D3 and on the 1st and on the 15th I use Repashy Superfood Calcium Plus LoD
  • Watering - I use the Mistking 3times a day. First one is for 5mins 1hrs after the lights go on and the second one is for 2 min mid day and last one is 1 hrs before lights go of 4 min. ? I also ran a dripper until bedtime. Yes I do see him drink sometimes.
  • Fecal Description - I attached a picture of his poop he just done. No never tested for parasites yet.
Cage Info:
  • Cage Type - Reptibreeze XL
  • Lighting - Zoo Med Reptisun T5 HO Hood 24” and a 100 watt household bulb for basking. 12hrs on and 12hrs off
  • Temperature - temp range From cage floor 70f to Baskingspot 85f ! overnight temp 66f. measure temps with temp gun.
  • Humidity - humidity level is at 45% and when misting 55% measure humidity digital
  • Plants - 3 real plants... Umbrella plant...Schefflera arboricola...pathos
  • Placement - in dinningroom...no fans, no air vents, minimum to medium traffic...2ft of the ground.
  • Location - I’m in Canada

Current Problem - Today when I had Charlie out on his free range. He done a poop and his pee had some orange color on it. He is very active through out the day in his Enclosure and ever time I walk by his cage he come to the door and wants me to let him out. He eats good but can be abit picky. Does the discoloration in his pee mean he is dehydrated or is something wrong with me boy?

He's eyes look fine to me. Just give him extra fluids just in case. Do you give his feeders any water?
 
If his droppings continue like to look like that, I'd recommend going to a vet to get him checked out
 
Yes, I wouldn’t be worried just yet. His eyes are not sunken, his skin looks hydrated, he has a good appetite, he’s active, you see him drink, you have an appropriate misting schedule, and this is the first colored urate you’ve noticed. You only have one hint at something being less than ideal while you have many indicators pointing in the right direction.

Now if any of the positive indicators mentioned above change in the coming days then I’d say it’s time to see a vet.

Yes it was the only one I have seen all the other one are normal. I definitely will keep and eye on him and his poop if it will happen again then I make an appointment right away. Thank you again now I can breathe a little easier.
