Hiding behind branches?

My guy hides behind branches whenever he sees me all of the sudden.

He's 9.5 months old and has never done this before.

He's also not eating. I think this is all because a difficult shed he has been going through lately, but I'm not sure. He has never gotten this weird over a shed before haha.

I recently did mite checks and there's nothing to report there.

any ideas? he hides whenever i look at him. seems super scared.

That's pretty normal for some chameleons. Just to make sure nothing is wrong post some pictures of him and he cage. Also fill out the "ask for help" in the health section of the forums.
