Is hibiscus stem okay for my veiled? I just caught him munching on it. My hibiscus is leafless now and he's going for the stems next. Please tell me this isn't bad.

i just asked my mom who is a florist and she said it was ok the hibiscus has a toxicity level of 4 which is the lowest posible ( to humans)
'HIBISCUS- ... they are nutritous if eaten and are a great plant overall.' http://www.geocities.com/chameleoncreatures/nontoxicplants.html
I have a female veiled who demolishes hybiscus plants. I have a couple that I rotate, but the last one I got a big lazy and didn't take it out soon enough and now there are just branches. I hope I get some leaves, otherwise it is trash.
Syn, did your cham eat other types of plants before distroying the poor little hibiscus? I have a CB veiled that doesn't seem at all interested in any plants, although when I get his new cage set up I'll be putting in a small hibiscus and pothos vine (fingers crossed). I'm erally hoping he'll like them enough to maybe eat a little
