Before I became a forum member and learned about toxic plants and non toxic plants for chams, I took some large pieces of bamboo, about an inch and a half in diameter, and cut into two equal pieces to make highways for my then 2-4 month old Veiled. It had no affect on him from what I could tell and he's still with me over half a year later. Not saying that the bamboo rango2012 is using isn't toxic, as there are different types of bamboo, but the kind I used didn't harm my cham.I could be wrong (and I probably am) but I heard somewhere that live bamboo can be toxic......
