Hi there guys I'm new to this and have a question about my graceful cham

I just purchased a Graceful Chameleon from a LLLreptile booth in Dallas at a convention. A couple days after I got him his eye was swollen shut. I took his whole (small) reptibreeze cage and put it in the shower and let the mist him for 15 minutes. He is able to open his eyes but then after an hour it shuts right back. I had a Repti Glo uvb cf bulb but have replaced that with a 5.0 reptisun tube. Also I did notice it closed after I added his fogger. What do you guys spray your chameleons with ( just regular warm tapwater? ) I added the reptisafe chlorine remover to my dripper spray bottle and fogger. Today when I came home the poor guy had both his eyes shut so that's why I replaced the uvb bulb hoping that would fix it. What do ya'll think could be causing his eyes to shut like this Humidity stays at about 60-90% and basking spot temps are at 90

Hi there! I don't know anything about graceful chams but it sounds like he has had an infected eye and it spread to the other one. I don't know what could have caused it but I would take him to the vet as soon as you can so it can be treated before it gets any worse.

If he closed his eye after putting the fogger back on I would say take the fogger out of the picture first. Hydration is always helpful in these situations so try what you can to get him to drink. Hornworms would help greatly. There are a lot of reasons a chameleon would start closing his eyes. Did you dust your crickets when you fed him after bringing him home? If you caked on the calcium powder or whatever supplement you have this could cause issues pretty quickly. It could also be an eye infection as well but a good herp vet may be able to figure out what is wrong. There are several graceful keepers on here and hopefully someone can spot whats wrong with your setup. Pictures of the setup are always helpful as well.

Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - The species, sex, and age of your chameleon. How long has it been in your care?
Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon?
Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What is the schedule? How are you gut-loading your feeders?
Supplements - What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule?
Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking?
Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites?
History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you.

Cage Info:
Cage Type - Describe your cage (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions?
Lighting - What brand, model, and types of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule?
Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps?
Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity?
Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind?
Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor?
Location - Where are you geographically located?
