Yes, that calcium is good to use. Use the plain calcium the most. How much exactly will depend on the age of your cham. A younger cham needs more than an adult. You will also need calcium with D3 to use twice a month. I also use a multi vitamin dust once or twice a month. What type of UVB light are you using?

Hey mohamed, what is that substrate at the bottom of your cage? Most of us use nothing on the bottom. Sometimes the substate can get ingested, and it makes it easier to clean.

hey,
I use a rep. 5.0 uvb.
And about substrate, I will put a plastic pot or something like it so it will be easier for him or her to eat. any other defects please say, thanks.

hey muhammed, it Looks ok. but id definatly find a way to add more vine like structures and climging structures, and definately get rid of the substrate, it will make your job easier in the end when it comes time to clean up.

to give you an idea, i just finished my enclosure.

Hi! I recently got a veiled too. I have got a lot of info from this website and learned that you should not use the substrate at the bottom because if it were to get injested it could cause him or her to become impacted, especially while they're young. Also my little guy, Loki, really likes to climb on his vines all the way to the top of his enclosure. I would recommend filling some of the empty space you have with more vines. I have several types but I've found Loki likes the natural looking vines that are made of plastic and are smoothe. I have one Biovine, but he doesn't care for it too much. I don't know if he doesn't like how it feels on his little feet or what but he uses his other vines a lot more often. Sorry for the long reply! I just wanted to share some of the things I've learned in the last couple months of having him! Also, I don't know what size crickets your new chameleon will need, but mine is pretty little so he eats 1/4 inch crickets which are not generally available at Petsmart or other stores like that. I order his crickets either from Ghanns.com or Premiumcrickets.com. You can specify the exact size you need so it really helps! Good Luck with your new chameleon!

thaaaaaaaaaanks kenz for the lot of info.
shouls I remove the soil or the sand from the bottom ?

It's not needed and removing it will make cleaning the enclosure easier for you.
Have you seen the new chameleon yet?
Are you sure you're getting a veiled this time?
Does he look healthy?

-Brad

I have no idea what that plant is.
And since veileds do eat vegetation, you're going to need to find out if it's safe or not ... or remove it.
Go to the plant database on this site to see pictures of safe plants.

hey,
please tell me which one of the plants R safe for the veiled cham ??

Hey,

I would have to agree, I would definatley remove the sand/soil from the bottom of your cage, it holds moisture, and poop which will get in the soil can contaminate it leaving the cham vulnerable to coccidia, also with substrate being moist it is a good place for bacteria and germs to multiply, (the only upscale is you can get free fruit flies). I would use some paper towel or newspaper, and change it out every 2 or 3 days.

I am no expert at this, this is just my 2 cents.

the one that kinda looks like grass could be safe, BUT without knowing there names its hard to tell.

the rest i wouldn't even risk it.

i know your in kuwait and that must make it really hard to get anything considering.
