My girlfriend and i picked up a chameleon just recently we asked the people at petsmart alo of questions but then again what better to get information then people who have them and enjoy them everyday i set it up to the best of my standards i have a uv light on 1 side and a heat lamp on the other im still learning about drippers and how to make my own and on humidity etc also like to learn how must of you all are planting real plants in your habitat so that my dripper can drip onto that what plants you use how you planted it etc i have a spray bottle crickets that will live awhile with calcium powder to put on them and food for them i have the uv and heating lamp i have fake vines and a fake plant i wraped around that i have a bowl with water under the heat lamp hoping that would vapor some of it spreading it throughout the cage any suggestions would be appreciated

Welcome to chameleon forums. I run my UVB light across the top of the cage. Remove the water bowl and live plant are much better than fake to help keep up the humidity. There's a member here with a blog for new keeper that will give you all the info you need on your new chameleon. Just search jannb and check out her blog.
