I’m Sarah and I have a chameleon named Carlos :) I just wanted to say hi because I’ve been a member for around 4 months now! Thanks to everyone who has helped me learn and grow into a better chameleon owner. I’m so glad to be a part of the community! I love chameleons so much and could totally see myself as a herpetologist when I grow up (I’m 15) I’ve learned so much and my little boy is doing so well. It’s so crazy to me how I just got into reptiles. I’ve loved animals my whole life but never considered getting a reptile until Covid happened (and stumbling upon a tiktok 🤣) Carlos was an impulse decision but I did so much research and listened to Bill Strand’s podcast (yes I am such a fan of him) and I am so glad I did. The chameleon community is SO welcoming and knowledgeable!

I also have a bearded dragon named Gibby that I got a month after Carlos 🤣 I’m surprised my parents were on board with it! I can’t wait til I’m older and I can have my own place with a giant reptile room :) I’m talking chameleons, snakes, tortoises, frogs, lizards, etc 🤣

Omg!! Beautiful! And congrats to entering the world of reptiles. 😂 It only gets more addictive from here 🤣🤣

Welcome!

This hobby really does draw you in! I went from one leopard gecko to now having 8 reptiles currently, all their cages covering a wall. Never thought I’d have that many, but gosh is it rewarding and awesome!

Plus, as long as you can care for it, I think we all find a way to rationalize just oneee more. That’s very much what happened with me. :hilarious:
