He's taunting me!

Thaxter, my blue-barred Ambilobe who much prefers to be a red-barred Ambilobe, was sitting on my hand this morning while I had my tea, and I noticed he was showing exactly FOUR brilliant blue scales (scattered amongst the red-burgandy of his bars). It's as if he's saying, "Yeah, I can do blue - but I don't wanna! So there!" (I've shown him the mirror and he's utterly unimpressed; the only time he ever fired up really blue was when he was upset at being at the vet's. Doesn't matter; he's a great chameleon all the same.)

Cool, my Veiled cham only fires up at ME when I suprise him by accident.
He tilts and gives me the `L bow.
I have tried the mirror trick but it doesnt work hes to smart to fall for it he just tries climbimg on the mirror`s edge.
Hes a special cham.
