According to the label, it doesnt have vitamin A. My local pet store guy says to get a multivitamin supplement with vitamin A. Is this true?

It has beta carotene in it and there is debate over whether it can be converted into vitamin A. I have used it for 5 years and have not had any eye problems with my chameleons until just recently. I am pretty convinced the problem I had did not have to do with vit A but an eye injury. Use fruits and vegetables in your gutload that have vit A also for added protection. It is really up to you. I know other members who use Repashy Calcium plus(I use that also) that contains vit a and also Reptivite does as well.

Does reptivvite have beta carotene in it? Or just pure vitamin A? I'm using the montane version of cricket crack. That should have it all in it right?

I don't use Reptivite, but I know others that do and they have said it contains Vit A and that is why they use it. You can go online and research it and find the label and see. I am not sure.

Well I just read a thread here on the forums about herptivite vs reptivit. Basically, I'm going with reptivit. Thanks.
