I just wanted to say that Hermie began eating food by himself again today. Before now he would open his mouth and we would drop the worms in one by one. Today, I put some silk worms in his cage and the look of excitement in his eyes! He watched them quite intently for a while and then ZAP! he got it. I've seen him eat at least 3 so far on his own. I think that this is exactly what he needed, I was worrying today that he was "Getting sick of being sick" and not eating as well.
He's been more active and moving around more too. We're not out of the woods yet, but I think that we've taken another big step forward.
