Quite a few if you have a longer branch! LolWhat a great picture!! Just how many plump melleri can fit on a branch?
Yes and about the free range so they can avoid each other if they want. But meleri is more sociable than other chameleon i thinkI was under the impression that chamelons we're solitary creatures? Or is it because there is 2 females and 1 male?
I totally agree with you, in a cage its probably not possible and in a free range you still have to keep an eye.. my 3 meller stay in a 9 feet x 8 feet free range space in a big room and they look great but i still have an enclosure just in case and a pair of glove (for me.. just in caseMelleri can be more social, but caution...this is in a large free range where they can choose to stay away from one or more of the others. And, when hormones fire up this can all change. They are powerful and can really injure each other in a flash. Don't assume you can house more than one to a typical cage situation. Add to this the fact that they are really difficult to sex, and a male can and will pester a female much of the time. I free ranged a group of 3 rescues in a spare bedroom. There were flare ups, but they had the space to neutralize the cranky one.
