Guysss , so yesterday i notice that 1 of my egg is sweating so i just leave em , and hoping this morning it will hatch ! But until this morning it still not hatch and still i just leave it , and this afternoon i notice that the size of the sweating egg is getting smaller , and doesnt sweating anymore . I pick a quick decision and open it !

And what i found out its already ready to hatch but it doesnt moving :( i suspect i cant came out and die inside ... What should i do to the rest ? The egg is already incubated for 8 months since 18th january , should i open the rest or waiting ? I only have 2 more eggs left from first clutch :( ...

And its panther chameleon btw

I would give it a little more time. I had a few that split their eggs after they shrunk but then sat in the egg without moving for 3-4 days. I even pulled them out in case they were having trouble and they just laid there in the incubator for another 2 days without moving. And then they crawled onto sticks and were super active the next day! So don't give up on them yet.

Hatching babies can lay motionless with their eyes shut and looking dead. When you cut an egg open the baby could be doing this too...or the fact that you cut it open could kill he baby if it's not ready to hatch. This is why I let nature take its course generally and let the eggs hatch on their own....but you have to make your own decision. Good luck!

So do you mean even theyre not moving its not dead sign ?

Just be sure to keep the humidity and temperature stable after they slit the egg. Opening and closing the container you have the eggs in isn't going to help.
