So its the same scenario as in the wild, except for caging, space, and food content. So what would be the variables that are the same?
Just because an animal survives through something, doesnt mean it was a good thing, or that it didnt shorten its life span.
I am not trying to attack you here (really) I just want to stress what you are doing is not proper husbandry, and we tend to advocate proper husbandry practices here. (Thats what the forum is for largely)
leaving 1 door and closing the other side with extra pieces I had. Possibly zip tieing the whole setup together making it one huge cage for a little less in price
