Help

He looks a little dehydrated to me. Maybe it's just the lighting. I know you said the urates are white, but it never hurts to increase hydration when there's a problem. I would up the misting a bit.

U guys please help!!!! His tounge doesnt even go all the way out now i have to tong feed him but his tounge got stuck on the tong and it looked like it hurt i got a new repti sun 5.0 18'' uvb and it looks like he gets dehydrated fast his tail sometimes raps around his legs and he grabs his legs and when i fed him 2day his tounge tried to go about 3 inches away and it went about 2 inches out and then curved and it happened 2 or 3 times can some one please help me i dont think he has mbd because he has never had or has curved joints and would liquid calcium help by any chance?
Thanks

Get him to a vet right away. If the tongue is hanging out and won't go back in you will have to keep it moist until you can get it to the vet.

How have you addressed the dehydration thing?

I know that you want to find the core issue, but I have to tell you, an animal that is not properly hydrated cannot respond well so you need to address that.

kinyonga: i dont think he means it is hanging out. it sounds to me he is witnessing where they stick the tongue out a ways before they let loose and give it all they have.

i bet most of this is could be solved with proper hydration, uvb lighting and liquid calcium.

trex makes a good liquid calcium.

however you provide water to your chameleon needs to improve.

if you can get your chameleon outside for some sun as much as possible.

its not hanging out i had that problem without my other male R.I.P. he was good but any way i will mist four times a day and ice cubes 3 times a day and i will put him out side as much as possible but who is trex and where can i get liquid calcium?

i know like i said i came home one day from school and found him on the bottom of the cage with his tounge sticking out and he died in a few hours of that time that was my first male veiled
