Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - Is to be a female breared pygmy not to sure on agebut about 1.5 in long. I have had her about a week.
Handling - just to move into new cage
Feeding - small crickets about 5-10 every 2 days. I buy them from reptile store lllreptile so i think they are gut loaded.
Supplements - using reptivitiams and mener-all with d3 switching every feeding
Watering - using spray bottle for watering. 2-3x's a day. misting until water is dripping from plants and glass of foggy, i think i have seen her drinking i also mist her head and eyes.
Fecal Description - i have not noticed any dropings and i have not had her tested for parasites.
History - wish i had some more history myself the male that i got at the smae time has died.
Cage Info:
Cage Type - using a glass 10 gal. with a bark and moss substrace.
Lighting - is repti 5.0 flouresent bulb at abotu 12 hrs daily.
Temperature - i cant seem to get this right, it is around 80F and cant get it to drop in the day night temp is around 73F until earily morning then about 68F
Humidity - seems to be around 70 -75 % created by misting.
Plants - using live palnts that i got from lllreptile store that was recomended for climbing and for humidity control.
Placement - it was in the living room next to tv but i notice it was putting off some heat so i moved it to dining room little cooler now its somewhat close to a outside door but far enough i think about 6ft and not in sunlight from the window i did put a fan on for a few min to try to cool it down but i know that that will make stress and drys out and takes the humidity away faster so not unless i have too. but it is a less traffic area it is about 4ft off the floor.
Location - geographicily well i live in San diego,Ca
Current Problem - The current problem is the temp. and i cant seem to get it cooled down enough. I am a beginnerto chams so I have many concerns over them and want to give them (her) the best that i can offer to her, I was hoping to get the chance to breed her but my male died so either i get another male after everything is good or i just keep her.
