yeah go ahead and cup feed. that solves your issues, and its so freaking easy. the only reason why some say it might be to big is that there may be a risk of the chameleon falling because babies have a weaker grip and are less experianced climbers. if you use alot of plants/ vines and fill it full (i always sugest live plants for humidity on the safe plant list found via internet....plant them in organic fertalizer free soil and your golden) if the baby cham falls lits likely going to get caught in all the plants then climb back up to its spot. chams are designed to take falls. they have a natural reflex to "jump off" or spazz out if disturbed heavily while sleeping in the wild. the cham free falls puffs out its chest and bounces on the ground to absorb impact, then go about its buisness. i think a 4 month will be fine in a cage that size. but use real plants they diserv to be one with nature, haha and have nice humidity. female panthers seem to like a smaller 18x18x36 more. but yours will be fine no matter what sex it is.
