HELP??

some other notes, I only handle once a week to avoid stress

I usually feed variety like silk worms, roaches, katydids, mantids, crickets, larvae, and hornworms

you need supplements without d3, the d3 overload can be fatal, so calcium without d3, everyday, calcium with d3 every other week and alternating weeks you need a multivitamin.

you also need a linear uvb, compact doesn't emit enough light for the chameleons calcium to function properly in their bodies.

So he just sat their and tried to drown himself?

My chameleon Terry has mobility issues and got situated in front of his humidifier that went on intermittently overnight. When I saw him in the morning he struggled with feeding and had mucus bubbles. I’m positive it contributed to giving him an upper respiratory infection. Now I only hand mist for him.
My suggestion is get to an emergency vet right away walk in you can’t wait for an appointment.
