Ok never saw my cham doing it, but this morning he was by his basking light and his mouth was open is that something that I need to worry ?

They will do that sometimes when they feel a little overheated. I wouldn't be concerned unless there is an issue with his cage setup, such as that he is unable to move away from his basking area, or move to cooler temps.
