Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - 9 month old Female Ambilobe Panther, in my care for about 2 months.
Handling - Every 3 days to take her to the vet
Feeding - Dubia Roaches and Crickets mostly, supers and meal worms on occasion, as many as she wants, I place the feeders in her feeding cup in the morning before work. Dubia and crickets are gutloaded with a homemade dry gutload and various fresh veggies as I have them.
Supplements - ZooMed Calcium w/o D3 everyday, ZooMed calcium w/D3 every other Sunday, RepCal Multivitamin every other sunday.
Watering - Homemade misting system, 4x daily for 3 minutes each, I don't usually see her drink, but I am rarely there when the mister goes off.
Fecal Description - Looks normal, fairly solid brown with white urates.
History - She has been undergoing treatment for an RI for the past month, treatments are almost complete.
Cage Info:
Cage Type - Currently in a home made temporary screen cage w/ 3 sides wrapped in a shower curtain, 18x18x24. I am getting ready to order her larger cage 24x24x48 reptibreeze
Lighting - 18" Reptisun 10.0 3 moths old, 60 watt hose bulb on at 8:00am, off at 8:00 pm
Temperature - Floor is about 74, basking about 90. Lowest overnight temp is about 68, measured with digital therm with probe
Humidity - About 30% at lowest going up to about 80% after misting. Measured with digital hygro with probe.
Plants - No live plants in the temporary cage
Placement - Cage is in my bedroom, very low traffic. The top of the cage is about 5 feet off the floor.
Location - Denver Metro
Current Problem - Skye is about 9 months old and weighs only 24 grams. The Vet believes that she was already sick when I got her, and she has been treating her for an RI for more than a month. She weighed 20g when I got her and has only put on 4g. I know that the antibiotics and the RI can cause her to slow her eating, but is there anything I can do to help entice her to eat more, or anything I can add to her food to help her gain more and grow quickly. I got her to be a future breeder, but if she doesn't start growing I will not be able to use her for that.
Here is a picture of her current, temporary, cage.
