I was thinking so . Ok so we have had her since July 20 . Pet store had her 2 months , she saw vet around 2 weeks later first week aug I believe . She did not say sex just that Francis was fantastic looking and needed drops in eyes . Thinking she's 6 month ? Should I set France's up with a laying bin now ? I guess I need a new name !!.

You have a beautiful GIRL. Get her a laying bin ready .Umm doesn't Francis work for a girl also? I have to ask why does she need drops in her eyes?

yes I think so why not . We had Francis for maybe 2 weeks . She was very active , then I noticed that she was rubbing her eyes . Especially after misting . Then she would not open her eyes , but was eating and drinking , but not active so off to vet . Vet thought she maybe had an allergy or got something in eyes . We did drops for 7 days but after day 3 she was great has been since .

Francis is a beautiful little girl. She looks a tad plump so I'd get her laying bin set up asap

Just heading home with supply's . I have a pot it's 12 by 12 I'm hoping its big enough , Eco earth , and reptisand . I picked up liquid cal should I us it now ?

Liquid calcium is generally reserved for when they have a deficiency. You need a powdered calcium without D3 to use every day. Calcium with D3 to use 2x a month, and a multivitamin to use 2x a month

Yes Francis has 10 to 15 small crackets dusted with calcium with out D3 every day , about 5 mealworms as well dusted , every other day papaya , or kale . Twice a month calcium and with D3 and a multivitamin . Should she be fine not having liquid calcium . I just worry if she has eggs she may not be getting enough nutrition.

Your girl is very pretty. I love female veileds. They are the sweetest! I give my girls liquid calcium weekly when I know they have eggs and for a few days after they lay. Making eggs drains their little bodies of calcium. Here's my blog about egg laying and the laying bin and a video about making a laying bin.

Welcome to chameleon ownership where we worry about everything. Especially poop. If you're following that supplimentationschedule she should be fine without the liquid calcium. Just make sure you give good gutloaded feeders and have good UVB bulbs

That's for sure worry about everything . Is she warm enough did she eat enough is she hydrated lol . We have a baby bearded dragon same age , and a getgo whom is 2 . There very easy . Francis is so very sweet , she's my little Acrobat . She love to hang out to , not all chameleon like to . She has very few grumpy days . She just much more delicate then our other 2 .

Looks like my girl. Very nice. I also didnt know I had a girl when I got it from the pet store, now time to figure out how to fit a laying bin in the cage and keep the sand from getting soaked when the whole cage gets misted throughout the day

When I had got her , the pet store said she was to young to tell . As I read it seems with veiled chameleons it's evident from hatchlings . We are completely excited that she's a little girl . I just wish I had known right from the start so she would have been set up properly . We have a foger , I hand must 3 times a day , also use a baby dropper morning and night to make sure she getting hydrated . I'm hoping I can cover the laying bin when I mist ? Will that discourage Francis from going When she needs to ?

In the pictures she doesn't look to have her big girl colors yet so she might not be really to lay right away but it's best to always be prepared.
