Help With My Baby Veiled Cham...Something Grew On Her Butt

ya why u say that???? show some respect
Because it didn't seem like you were going to. I'm not sure where any disrespect was shown, it was just a question.

I hope everything goes well in the mean time, would like to see what the vet says, does look peculiar.

ok thanks keep ya posted only reason i said that was cuz u said or not... and i took that as like yellin almost sorry ifu were just asking a question

JESUS!That thing is huge poor girl :(
Good luck finding a vet (saw your other thread)
Keep us updated, Id like to know what that thing is D:

well, ive seen that before, i really feel sorry for you, my female also had one but abit higher then that and about the same size, it was actually full of air, but then soon filled up with something and she died :( i hope everything gets sorted but thought id comment due to seeing it before, its the worst thing ever to loose a chameleon, i should get her to the vets as soon as but i dont think theres much they could do, mine only lasted just over a day since it grew to this size but mine was an adult female who had not long ago laid eggs :(

please get her to a vet and have them look into it an decide what it is. Would like to know what the vet says as well. Hope everything comes back okay!

You should have been to a vet a long time ago... And i agree with Syn, you obviously didn't look like someone who was planning to go to a vet in the very short term.

No expert will take a risk on saying what it is, because you provided a very small resolution picture, because it can be a wide variety of pathology, and because we barely know anything about the conditions your chameleon is kept in.

The only good suggestion for you is the one that has been mentionned a good number of time: VET ASAP. Not next week, not in 4 days, TOMORROW max. Your chameleon should have seen a vet a week and a half ago, if not two weeks ago.

Now if you want a second opinion, once you have seen your vet, please fill the Help Form like BridgoFaith suggested and we might be able to tell you more.

PS: No matter what we can tell you here, i doubt there is anything you can do to help your chameleon unless you see a real and specialized vet. Your chameleon will most likely need a minor surgery and some prescription too, not to say a good review of your whole setup.

Forgive me for skipping niceties, but she's had this for weeks and you've just let it grow without thinking it might be a good idea to get it checked out? What if something like that started to grow on your butt, I guarantee you'd have gotten yourself checked out two days later. She's probably been in pain all this time.

Please let us know how she's doing and please please please, never let something like this go untreated again.

I never thought of seeing it that way!! If you don't mind, i'll use your strategy with other people in the future! ;) Asking what they'd do if it was their body is great idea! :D

Haha thanks! But it's so true. People notice something weird happening to them and they are at the doctor's as soon as they'll give them an appointment. But if it's on their pet... "psh, it'll go away on its own!" But there's no question that your pet is also uncomfortable/in pain too because of their medical problems.
