So I get a Jackson from work aka petco I noticed he wasn't doing well with the set up there so I did some research and took him home he is in a 12-12-24 exo terra glass terrarium with a zoo med light bar with a reptisun 5.0 a home mad vicks fogger and a few live plants. He has a exo terra 50w thermal but moves away when its on. I have no substrate but in the plants pots for mold and bacteria purposes I know many will say use screen I dont have a devoted reptile room and in texas ac blows all day I wouldnt be able to keep his humidity were it needs to be qith screen and cant devote a room to his humidity specification so the glass was well thought out before hand. My issue is im farely certain he has goute which is why I got him out of his prior situation and as such I know he needs lots of water. Im fairly intelligent and crafty but I can't for the life of me come up with a solution for my little dripper pooling at the bottom of his enclosure any ideas would be amazing. I don't know it's sex or age but a guess would be 4 months and maybe a boy jackson 1405386452019.jpg

I drilled holes into the bottom of my enclosure and the water drains into a rubbermade container positioned underneath its stand.

There are whole threads about this topic and many even have pictures of successful drainage set ups.

Through the glass? Cause I think I saw your post on another thread but want sure if you have screen or glass

Yes, through the glass. Get a glass drilling bit. That cage is also too small for him. I keep my jacksons in 24X24X48 and they would prefer it bigger still.

I actually got a bunch of Blue Shop Towels and a 2-layer drop cloth by Trimaco called Catch-All from Lowe's. If you put the drop cloth on bottom and the blue towels on top (a ton of them) it makes it real easy to clean up and keeps the humidity high.

And yes, if you got a bigger cage that'd help a lot. You could get a wire cage and do what I'm doing it makes cleaning easy.
