Looking for some help, my Nosy B Panther is around 4.5-5.0 months old all of a sudden he has taken on the appearance shown in the photo, brownish mottled skin including shutting eyes in the day, and not eating.
He is in a bioactive vivarium basking temp is 29c heat on two times a day for 1,5 hours each time, misting twice a day morning and night for 1.5 min each time RO water. Ambient day time temp is 22-24c. Night time temp 19c. Fogger on at night from 01:00-05:00am 20 min each hour. Night time humidity is 90-100% T5 HO 6%, UBV, daytime humidity 50-70% insects crickets, Locusts lightly dusted calcium without D3 each feed every two weeks calcium with D3. He was doing fine and had shed twice since I got him.

Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated

I’m thinking a vet call is in order. A good exotic vet who has experience in reptiles, hopefully chameleons specifically. Providing a photo of the entire enclosure including lighting is a good idea to give a good picture. Also if you have a photo of his normal colors that would probably be help. How long have you had him. He’s a cute little booger. So sorry you are dealing with this.

Have a vet appointment for Monday morning, lighting is Jungle Dawn plants are Ficus, umbrella plant, Madagascan Jasmine, & Passion flower

Poor sweetheart. 🥺 From what you say about your husbandry, I only see a few suspects. The first is has he ever been tested for parasites? They are more common than we’d like to think. Before putting in your plants, did you wash/rinse them of any possible chemical fertilizer or pesticide? Did you wash/rinse your branches before using? What specific supplements are you using - can you post pics of them? Is he getting a multivitamin? What is your clean up crew - anything other than isopods and springtails that might be toxic (even maybe something which snuck in)?
Definitely agree that a vet visit is in order. In the meantime, hydration is essential to continue. While he may not be drinking, the night time fogging will help keep him hydrated. Do let us know what your vet says and how your ‘baby’ is doing.

Not been tested for parasite by me but came from a reputable breeder, Plants were washed and rinsed including roots, normal isopods and spring tails viv was left for 6 weeks running as if there was a Cham in it just to be sure I was hitting the correct parameters, bugs gut filled with fresh greens/ carrots, Arcadia earth pro-A every feed and Repashy Calcium Plus Lo-D twice a month

At times, even the very best of breeders can have parasites sneak in, same as can happen to any one of us keepers. Unless a big part of the picture is missing, such as your chameleon having been born with some sort of physiological defect, parasites would be my primary suspect.

After some research I am thinking it may possibly be Yellow fungus, Chrysosporium anamorph of Nannizziopsis vriesii, CANV. however I am no expert and might be in the wrong ball park

What makes you think this is what it is? Do you have some close photos of the area where it is on your chameleon?
Mainly because it’s the closest thing I can find that remotely resembles the issue
