Help please i dont know whats wrong with reggies tale!

Basically for the last week or 2 reggies tail has gone whiter than normal and doesnt change colour properly i dont know if its skin now shedding possibly because im usually at work when he is shedding, ill put a picture up any help would be appreciated very much thanks

She does look to be shedding on her tail yes. They usually go this colour a day or so before they shed the skin.

Looks like a shed, so yo umay want ot up your humidity and mistings.

ALso, you know reggie is a girl right?

Reggie looks a little round, do you have a lay bin in her cage?

Yh i named her when she was tiny hoping a boy but is a girl and still happy but keep the name haha. Well she shed about a week ago and since then her tails been like this and theres no sign of it about to shed of. Also no i dont have a lay bin but as you have mentioned it ill look into it straight away.

Some chameleons shed their whole body all in one go, same do it in parts. This could be what is happening.

I dint realise u meant a full on laying bin, shes about 10 months old will she lay this soon? And how do i know shes definatly pregnant, obviously without the male the eggs armt furtile right?

Females can start laying at around 6 months old.

SHes def old enough now.

If she hasnt been bred, the eggs will be infertile.

You wont know that she has eggs all the time. sometimes they change color, sometimes they dont.

Thats why we recommend a lay bin in their cage at all times.
