Help on giving cham a shower

Yup, you're supposed to hit the wall of the shower and the water will bounce off and go to the plant & cham.

Make sure the water is not too cold and not too hot.

And that you get a sturdy plant.

When I first had my cham I didn't know I wasn't supposed to shower a 2 month old cham so I placed it in a little schefflera and the leaf broke off & my cham fell.

Good thing I was there cuz he looked like he could have drowned from the puddle of water that was collecting on one of those plastic containers that you place under the plants (can't think of what it's called right now - having a brain freeze).

I also make sure that a part of the plant is not getting hit with too much water or none at all, just in case he wants to run for cover & not get hit by the "pouring rain".

I've always used a ficus for showers because it has a lot of branches and leaves.

And from my experience, my cham usually runs when it starts raining or take cover under the leaves or sometimes he'll jump or try to climb the walls (kinda like a cat)..

He doesn't like showers so I usually just give him one when I have to.

Maybe somebody else here has a different technique.. :)

Ok thanks for the advice:)
Ive heard that some chams hate taking a shower the first time but then love taking one, hopefully mine is like that lol

The only thing my veiled got used to was the misting.. I guess cuz I do that everyday.. :)
