So my veiled, Cooper has a bunch of hiding and basking spots. Usually he's on his leaves chillin under his heat bulb, but lately he's been climbing up the mesh and is right where the heat is, he's warm after but i'm nervous he might fall one day and I want him to stop. I want him to stop being on the mesh in general. I'm trying to get a live plant soon,

You could try rechecking his basking spot temp. It may not be as high as usual because of winter and he's seeking extra warmth.

If he is getting bigger,u should follow the suggestion with @JacksJill so he wont get too cold or too hot, even getting burn from the heat lamp.
I just raised his basking spot, and now his cage is more open which means he can go lower if he is to hot. But also can get warm with his new spot. I actually set my hand on the spot and it's warm. So that's a start, we will see if he likes it better

Try use a digital thermometer gauges to measure the correct suitable temp for ur growing veiled and do the research on the forum care sheets so u can understand what temperature does the Cooper needs.

I've had him for a year, he's a small veiled and should be full grown. I used to have one of those but it just died one day. I'll have to look at it. I do have a laser pointer I can use to see how hot it is
