HELP!!! My juvenile veiled escaped from its cage.

My juvenile veiled escaped from it's cage. Apparently, when I moved a branch I made a small hole in the screen. I didn't notice until later. I saw her when I was home for lunch this afternoon, but this evening she was gone. I've searched the whole house and can't find her. It's a little chilly in my apartment. I'm hoping she's ok and to try to catch her near the windows tomorrow morning. Any other advice?

Look up in the higher places. I've had mine get away and climbed up in the curtains and was sitting on top of the window. Maybe if you leave the door open it will come back to the basking lamp. As long as you know its in your home it should be fine. If you've lost it outside then you've probably lost it for good. Good luck and keep us updated.

I found her but now I have another problem.

I have an aluminum mesh cage, with an inset fishtank allowing me to have constantly moving water that is pumped up to a showerhead at the top of the tank. She was hiding on the bottom between the screen and the fish tank. She came out, but I noticed brown splotches on her jaw and left arm that weren't there before, any ideas?

if you can seal off rooms that way you can search each one without her moving into it. If you can put the cage on the floor with its likes so they can get into the cage.

Others have found them on their computer wires-good luck though

could be bruising, maybe fell into that tight space..do you have any pics..they always help alot!!

never saw this before can you post a picture of that as well as some of her marks?
