If that is a black "slimline fixture" that came with the bulb, you need to replace that bulb soon because it is too weak. It is not hurting your chameleon though. Your basking bulb could be causing dehydration if the temps are too high. NO lights should be inside the cage. Once you get the thermometer you can adjust either the basking bulb itself to a lower wattage or move it further away from the cage. 2 months old an be tricky-they are still young yet and will also stress easily-but you DO need to get temps under control. As said before both lights on for 10-12 hours and off at night.
